A Rare Gift of Inclusion for Learners with Exceptionalities

Today marks a milestone for Polanco Central School as it officially becomes the first recipient of Program Ray-DIANCE through the Adopt-A-School Program of the SDO. The turnover of a Sensory Room generously donated by ZORAYDA Lending and Services Corporation through the outstanding advocate to advance Special Needs Education, Madam Zorayda Daarol-Ayson. In her heartfelt message, The Schools Division Superintendent emphasized that the facility is more than just a room—it is a "safe haven for learners with exceptionalities,a place where they can thrive, feel supported, and be valued. She grew emotional as she expressed gratitude to our generous partners Zorayda Lending Services Corporation for giving Zamboanga del Norte this rare opportunity to uplift children with special needs. The event was further strengthened by the presence and full support of all elected officials of the Municipal Government of Polanco with all municipal councilors in attendance. Their commitment reflects a shared mission: to ensure that education is inclusive, sustainable, and accessible to every child. This initiative underscores a vital truth: while DepEd continues to champion inclusive education, our resources remain limited. That is why the assistance of partners and the unwavering support of the LGU are crucial. Together, we must safeguard these educational investments, nurture them, and sustain projects like the Sensory Room—because every learner deserves the chance to shine.
